Ospreys hit road for two matches
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida women's tennis team will look to climb in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings this weekend with matches at Mercer and Kennesaw State.
The Ospreys are coming off a quality 5-2 win over ETSU last Saturday to up their conference record to 6-2, which has them tied for third place. UNF has won three of its last four conference matches and has won the doubles point in each of those victories.
Mercer is tied for seventh in the A-Sun at 2-6 and has lost four-straight matches. The Bears have also lost three conference matches in a row. Mercer fell 5-2 to Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday night in Fort Myers, Fla.
Kennesaw State stands 11th in the A-Sun with a 1-6 conference mark and has lost three-straight matches. The Owls are coming off a 5-2 loss to Florida Gulf Coast and a 7-0 loss to Stetson last weekend.
