The University of North Florida women's basketball team will get conference play started on Saturday when it hosts in-state foe Stetson at UNF Arena.

The Lady Ospreys (5-7, 0-0 A-Sun) will look to continue a trend against Stetson (2-10, 0-0 A-Sun) that has seen the home team win every contest in the series. UNF defeated the Hatters 75-61 at home last season and also secured a 61-55 win against Stetson in 2006.
UNF snapped a two-game losing streak in its last outing with a 56-46 win against SavannahState to elevate its home record to 4-3 this season. Willonda Windham notched the team's first double-double of the season when she led the squad with 12 rebounds off the bench to go along with 11 points. Shandrea Moore scored a game-high 15 points, hitting 7-of-8 shots from the free throw line.
Moore has scored in double figures now in five of her last six games.
Stetson is looking to rebound after losing its last outing to UCF 65-43. The Hatters snapped a seven-game losing streak in their previous game, defeating Presbyterian 68-61 on Dec. 22. The win was the 299th career for Stetson head coach Dee Romine.
Tierra Brown leads the Hatters this season, averaging 9.0 points a game, while Jessica Conner is the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 5.6 boards a contest.
Saturday's game pits two of the best defensive teams in the conference against each other. The Lady Ospreys are the top defensive team in the league, allowing 54.9 points a game while Stetson is third in the league, giving up 63.7 points a game.
