
Ospreys fall short against Barry

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- No. 6 ranked University of North Florida men's tennis team came up just short on Sunday, falling to No. 3 Barry 5-4. The heart-breaking loss drops the Ospreys to 11-4 on the season, including a 2-1 Peach Belt Conference record.
Following three hard fought doubles matches, Barry emerged with a 2-1 advantage.
Singles featured four of the top 33 players in the nation doing battle. The two teams split those, with UNF freshman No. 33 Eduardo Pereira defeating No. 12 Sebastian Losavio, and No. 20 Thomas Hipp defeating No. 23 Jose Terrera.
North Florida will next be in action on March 25 when its travels to Georgia College & State for a 2 p.m. match.
