Lady Ospreys defeat UT-Martin 6-3

Jacksonville, Fla. (March 13, 2005) - The ninth ranked University of North Florida women's tennis team defeated the University of Tennessee-Martin 6-3 on Sunday, winning two of three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches.
Both squads battled the elements on Sunday, but the Lady Ospreys were able to overcome the heat and emerge victorious.
"It was a rough day physically," UNF head coach Tom Schrader said. "It got real hot out there, but our girls got stronger as the day went on."
With the victory, the Lady Ospreys improve to 9-2 on the season. UT-Martin falls to 5-1.
UNF will be back in action Sunday, March 20 when they take on Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla.
