Brandon Row - Headshot

Brandon Row

Brandon Row enters his third season as an assistant volleyball coach at North Florida in 2025.

Row most recently became North Florida’s recruiting coordinator this offseason, playing an invaluable role in constructing its 2025 roster.

In six seasons as an assistant coach at the Division I level, Row has guided two all-Americans, nine all-conference selections and one conference freshman of the year honoree.

After a 17-15 record in his first season at North Florida, Row was selected to the Volleyball Magazine College Coaching Hotshots List on Dec. 25, 2023. North Florida’s 17 wins in Row’s first season on campus marked a five-win increase from its total in 2022.

Prior to joining the Ospreys in February of 2023, Row served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Cal State Bakersfield from 2022-23. At CSBU, Row was in charge of creating blocking schemes, something he garnered immense experience with in the SEC.

Row was a volunteer assistant coach at Georgia from 2019-21. While at Georgia, Row aided the blockers and setters, guiding UGA to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in six years. His coaching skills also helped the Bulldogs achieve their first 20-win season since 1997.

With Row’s assistance, Georgia achieved a top-15 road victory against No. 12 Kentucky on Oct. 11, 2019. He was also a key piece of UGA’s coaching staff in 2020 that notched a win at No. 5 Florida on Nov. 20, marking the program’s first victory against UF since 2008.

Prior to Georgia, Row was a student manager and graduate assistant at Carson-Newman University, a Division II program in Knoxville, Tenn.

In Row’s first season at Carson-Newman in 2015, the Eagles advanced to the Elite Eight. In 2017, he guided Carson-Newman back to an NCAA Tournament appearance once again.

Row’s other current coaching role includes serving as a certified coach for the Gold Medal Squared Clinic, cultivating elite high school and club players at camps throughout the country since 2020.

Row received his bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman in 2016 as well as his graduate degree in 2019.
