2010-11 (junior): First-Team All-Atlantic Sun selection… posted a 6-8 singles record and a 10-6 doubles mark… played primarily at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles throughout the entire season… named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week on Mar. 9… won four-straight doubles matches on two occasions with partner Simona Weymar… started the year 4-0 in doubles play… went on a four-match winning streak in doubles on Mar. 18, getting wins against No. 1 doubles teams from Mercer, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb and Belmont… selected to play at the 2010 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships… defeated USC’s Cristala Andrews 6-2, 7-6 in the First Round of Pre-Qualifying Singles before falling to No. 113 Christina Ngo of Georgia Tech in the Second Round… reached the semifinals of A1 Singles of the 8th College of Charleston Invitational… teamed up with Melanie Aguirre to reach the second round at the 2010 USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships… advanced to the second round in the consolation bracket at the 2010 USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships.

2009-10 (sophomore): Atlantic Sun Player of the Year… named First Team All-Atlantic Sun… went undefeated in duals with a 21-0 record at the No. 1… had an overall singles record of 25-7… picked up wins over then-ranked No. 123 Jennifer Rabot of No. 49 Purdue and No. 120 Yevgeniay Stupak of ETU… earned a spot in the 2010 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championship… in doubles, teamed up with senior Raquel Castro for an 18-4 record at No. 1… the pair finished the season ranked No. 56… the duo secured wins over No. 48 ranked pair of Valentina Galbarini and Carolina de los Santos of Stetson as well as No. 46 ranked duo of Holly Dowse and Emma Hayman of College of Charleston… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.

2008-09 (freshman): Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year… had an overall singles record of 17-13… finished with a dual singles record of 12-9, playing in the No. 1 position… had a win over No. 68 College of Charleston’s Link Leskosky… tallied a doubles record of 21-8 overall and 17-4 in duals’ play with partner Raquel Castro in the No. 1 position… ranked as high as No. 47 in the nation in doubles… the pair had wins over No. 59 duo of Jenny Frisell and Elvira Serrot of UCF… also had a doubles win over No. 30 FIU’s Maria Pazo and Mariana Muci… Atlantic Sun All-Academic.

Other Experience: Placed fifth in 2005 at Mundial tournament and 10th at Sulamericano tournament… finished 10th in 2006 at Nationals-Brazil and 10th in 2007 at the Unimed Pro tournament… began playing competitive tennis at the age of eight.

High School: Attended Colegio Nova Era, graduating in May 2008.

Personal: Majoring in Nutrition… daughter of Marino Berkenbrock and Maria Simei Pieper… has three sisters, Liane, Enila and Gabriella… born March 25.
