Why UNF:Â
"I chose UNF because of the culture the program has. It made me feel like I was already a part of the team just from the visit. The coaches and the staff were amazing and I could really see myself excelling with all the support that they have to offer." -- Ashlyn Freshwater
Coach Faulconer's Words on Ashlyn:
"Ashlyn was on our radar late in the process, as has been the case with several of our late additions to our 2022 class. Since I am from Naples, Ashlyn's name kept coming up time and time again from people I know in Southwest Florida as someone we should take a strong look at. She is a very well-rounded student-athlete, is an outstanding student and has been a top performer for both her club team and at her high school. I am excited to see what she can do once she joins us this fall. She has a very high soccer IQ and is very passionate about the game. This is a great fit for everyone involved and we are excited to have Ashlyn join our Osprey family."
Florida West FC Director of Coaching - Danny Fahey (on Ashlyn Freshwater)
"Florida West FC and I are extremely proud of Ashlyn's commitment to UNF. From her first day at the club she showed her talent on the field and her worth off it. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this gifted young lady."
