Megan Docherty joined the Osprey coaching staff as an Graduate Assistant Women's Golf Coach ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Docherty started her career at Chattanooga, where she played in 20 events over two years and earned WGCA All-American Scholar honors in 2022. She finished among the top 30 individuals at the 2022 SoCon Championships for a career-high mark at the time.
Going into the 2023-24 season, Docherty transferred to Rollins College to play her final two seasons of collegiate golf. She was selected as a Second Team All-American in 2025 to go along with WGCA All-South Region honors and WGCA All-American Scholar recognition.
Across the 2024-25 season, the Glasgow, Scotland, native finished in the top 10 overall in nine of 12 events, including ninth in the NCAA South Regional, with all events played being among the top 16 on the player's leaderboard. At the end of May 2025, she was ranked as the No. 20 women's golfer among NCAA Division II schools with a stroke average of 72.60.
As a junior in college, Docherty represented Scotland in the Girls for Home Internationals tournament. She's also competed in the Scottish Amateur Women's Championship and the English Women's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
