Beay Treyz joined the men's tennis staff in February 2024 as an assistant coach.
Treyz joins UNF with collegiate experience playing for UNF from 2010-12, while finishing out his career at Nebraska. He finished with the Huskers as a Big Ten doubles champion in 2014, and reached career ATP highs of #1756 in singles and #1587 in doubles.
The former Osprey athlete has been a traveling ATP/WTA coach for the past five years and has coached multiple top 100 ATP players during this time. A Jacksonville, Fla., native, Treyz is also the author of the book “How to Tennis: Think, Train, and Compete to Your Potential."
“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Beau [Treyz] to the program. Not only is he a past Osprey and Jacksonville native, his tremendous playing and coaching background will serve our guys immensely. His experience coaching some of the best players in the world will translate immediately to what we are building here at UNF. Our players have aspirations to play professionally after college, and with another coach who has seen what it takes to get to this level will only help that progression. Beau is thoughtful, enthusiastic, energized, and has a love for this university. All of these traits will be great assets to our players and help us towards our goals for championships. This is a huge addition for our program, and shows that we are serious about the dedication to becoming a top tennis program in the nation. SWOOP!”
