Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association All-Academic Team (2015-16)
2015-16: Competed in four meets and swam in seven different events as a true freshman... Listed on the CCSA All-Academic Team... Her top finish came in the 50 backstroke (36.05) when she finished seventh in a tri-meet with North Carolina A&T and Campbell on Oct. 10... Her 50 breaststroke time of 36.05 on Oct. 10 was the third fastest on the team

High School: A four-year varsity swimmer for Dan Bledsoe at Western Albemarle... Member of four 3A Virginia State Championship and four District Championship teams... The Warriors also claimed three regional championships and two conference titles during her tenure... A three-time All-State nominee in the 100 fly... As a junior was an All-State nominee in the 200 IM... Participated in the YMCA Nationals.
Personal: Full name is Brynn Elise Acker... Daughter of Steve and Mary Acker... Her sister Seana (21) is a member of the Towson University swim team... A Nursing major.
