Volleyball Falls To Tulane

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Volleyball fell in its final match in the UNF Invitational presented by Holiday Inn Express and Suites against Tulane, 3-0, at UNF Arena on Saturday.
UNF 0, TULANE 3 (17-25, 14-25, 11-25)
SET ONE:
First year middle blocker Sasha Bespaly put down a kill to tie the score, 3-3, early in the set. A three-point run capped off by a kill from third year outside hitter Dakota Spurrier cut UNF's deficit to 11-9. A 7-1 run from Tulane down the stretch helped the Green Wave secure the frame.
SET TWO:
Tulane tallied 16 kills to North Florida's nine en route to earning the set. Doctor paced UNF with four kills in the frame.
SET THREE:
Doctor and Spurrier combined for five kills in the set. Tulane opened the frame with a 7-1 lead and held its advantage until the set reached its final margin.
