Women's Golf Earns Top-Four Team Placement At Fighting Irish Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – University of North Florida Women's Golf earned a top-four team finish to conclude play at the Fighting Irish Classic, hosted by Notre Dame, at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. on Sunday.

North Florida finished tied for fourth at 30-over 882 (296-291-295) on the team leaderboard. North Florida has earned a top-five team finish in each of the first two tournaments this season.

Senior Kaitlyn Schroeder notched her second-straight top-three finish with a tie for third place at even-par 213 (71-70-72). She totaled seven birdies and an eagle.

Senior Brianna Castaldi finished tied for 16th at 7-over 220 (71-75-74). Castaldi led all Ospreys and ranked tied for sixth within the field with nine birdies.

Junior Braydn Smith moved up 10 spots on the individual leaderboard in Round 3 and finished tied for 28th at 13-over 226 (76-76-74). Senior Mohea Mansbendel rounded out four Ospreys in the top-50 with a tie for 44th at 17-over 230 (84-71-75).
