Kaitlyn Schroeder Named ASUN Golfer Of The Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Women's Golf senior Kaitlyn Schroeder was named ASUN Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
Schroeder carded a 2-under 214 (69-71-74) to tie for third on the individual leaderboard at the Boilermaker Classic, hosted by Purdue, at Kampen-Cosler Golf Course at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind. on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
Schroeder also finished tied for third within the field with a 4.75 score on Par 5's and tallied a team-high 11 birdies. It marks the second-straight year that she has finished top-three at the event. North Florida finished fifth on the team leaderboard.
North Florida returns to action when it heads to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Fighting Irish Classic at Warren Golf Course on Sept. 26-27.
