Women's Golf Releases 2026-27 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Women's Golf revealed its 11-tournament schedule for the 2026-27 season, announced by Director of Golf Scott Schroeder on Wednesday.
The slate is highlighted by the 14th-annual Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate from Feb. 22-23 at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla. North Florida will co-host another tournament with Furman for a third-consecutive season with the Coach Mo Classic from Mar. 30-31at St. John's Golf and Country Club in Saint Augustine, Fla.
North Florida will be headlined by First Team All-ASUN selections Kaitlyn Schroeder and Brianna Castaldi, in addition to ASUN All-Freshman Team honoree Ava Cottis. North Florida also returns Mohea Mansbendel and Braydn Smith, and welcomes the additions of Mia Raines, Maddie Rathjen and Abby Vernier.

The 2026 ASUN Championship will be hosted over three days from Apr. 11-13 at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Ala.
North Florida advanced to the 2026 NCAA Championship Tallahassee Regional last season – which marked the program's first team NCAA Championship Regional appearance since 2022 and its fifth overall. The Ospreys earned their best NCAA Championship Regional placement in program history with a seventh-place finish in a field that boasted eight top-50 programs.
North Florida claimed its fourth ASUN Championship title in program history at the 2026 ASUN Championship last season. Castaldi claimed the program's first ASUN Championship Individual title, in addition to four Ospreys inside the top-seven and all five Ospreys ranked inside the top-25 at the tournament.
North Florida set the lowest 54-hole team score and lowest 54-hole team score to par with a 20-under 844, over eight strokes better than the previous record set in 2021. It marked the seventh-largest margin of victory over the field in ASUN Championship history.
In addition to the team score record, North Florida set the ASUN Championship record for the lowest team 18-hole round score and lowest team 18-hole round score to par with an 18-under 270 in Round 2, which also marked the lowest team Round 2 score. North Florida also set the lowest team Round 1 score and lowest Round 1 score to par with a 10-under 278. Castaldi set the ASUN Championship record for the opening round score with a 5-under 67 in Round 1.
It marks the sixth time in the last seven full seasons that North Florida has competed in 10 or more tournaments. North Florida is scheduled to play in at least six different states – Indiana, Virginia, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia and Alabama. – for a third-consecutive season.
The fall season opens on Aug. 31-Sept. 2 at the Boilermaker Classic, hosted by Purdue, in West Lafayette, Ind. It marks the third appearance for North Florida at the tournament. Later in the month, North Florida travels to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Fighting Irish Classic, hosted by Notre Dame, from Sept. 26-27.
North Florida competes at the Evie Odom Invitational, hosted by Old Dominion, from October. 16-18 in Virginia Beach, Va. North Florida makes its fifth appearance in the tournament. North Florida closes out the fall at the Route 66 Invitational Honoring Dale McNamara, hosted by Tulsa, from Oct. 19-20.
North Florida remains in town to open the spring season at the Sea Best Invitational, hosted by Jacksonville, at San Jose Country Club from Jan. 25-26. North Florida will have a short turnaround at the Grand Reservation Center Dominican Republic Classic, hosted by Purdue, from Jan. 31-Feb. 2.
