
Women's Golf Notches Best Finish In Program History To Cap Off NCAA Championship Tallahassee Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – North Florida Women's Golf recorded its best NCAA Regional finish in program history at the 2026 NCAA Championship Tallahassee Regional at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla. on Wednesday. Â

North Florida remained in the hunt of a top-five spot throughout Round 3 in a field that boasted eight top-50 teams, and finished the event in seventh place on the team leaderboard at 16-over 880. It was the fifth NCAA Regional appearance in program history.Â

Redshirt junior Kaitlyn Schroeder carded a 1-under 71 in Round 3 to improve five spots and earn a top-10 finish with a tie for 10th place at even-par 216. Schroeder finished second in the entire field with 39 pars.Â

Junior Brianna Castaldi notched a 1-over 217 to finish tied for 13th on the leaderboard. Castaldi finished tied for sixth in the entire field with 13 birdies.Â

Sophomore Braydn Smith posted the best 18-hole Round 3 score for the Ospreys with a 5-under 67 to finish tied for 40th at 10-over 226. Junior Mohea Mansbendel tied for 50th at 15-over 231 to round out four Ospreys in the top-50 of the leaderboard.Â
