Women's Tennis Keeps Unbeaten Season Alive With Win Over Lipsomb, 5-2

JACKSONVILLE. Fla. – North Florida Women's Tennis improved to 14-0 this season when it defeated Lipscomb, 5-2, at UNF Tennis Complex on Tuesday.

North Florida dropped the doubles point despite receiving a win at one from senior Laurie Barendse and graduate Isabel Oliveira.

Freshman May Fadida tied the match, 1-1, with a win on court four, 6-2, 7-6. Oliveira tied knotted the match one again with a victory on court two, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. North Florida earned its first lead of the match with a win by sophomore Aryana Bartlett at three, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.

Barendse clinched the match, allowing the Ospreys to improve to 14-0, with a victory at one, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6. Sophomore Gabby Goyins added North Florida's fifth win of the match in a hard fought battle at five, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5.
