Volleyball Finalizes 2025 Roster With Addition of Gerogianni

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida head volleyball coach Kristen Wright announces the addition of transfer Evelina Gerogianni ahead of the 2025 season on Thursday afternoon.
"Evelina [Gerogianni] is an elite setter and has the ability to take over matches," Wright said. "She has excellent location and a fast release and is highly intellectual. She comes from a well-trained staff at Oregon that prepared her well in systems and execution. We're excited to have Eve join our family."
Gerogianni is a setter that redshirted as a freshman at Oregon in a season that saw the Ducks reach the Sweet 16 in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. She played a key role at Moraitis School, winning three-straight National School Championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
The incoming transfer from Athens, Greece, spent six seasons competing with the SFA Foivos Melission club volleyball organization and helped lead the U18 and U20 teams to third-place finishes at the 2021 Greek Championships. Gerogianni also competed for the 2020 Greek U16 National Team.
