BUIES CREEK, N.C. – North Florida women's soccer fell to Campbell, 1-0, at the Eakes Athletic Complex on Sunday.
North Florida is now 1-1 on the season after splitting its season-opening road stint.
The Ospreys notched three shots in the initial five minutes of action and added a shot and a pair of corner kicks right before the halftime break but were unable to convert on its early offensive momentum. Campbell took an early lead on a goal in the 40th minute.

Graduate student goalkeeper Sophia Miliancano secured three saves in the effort to extend her season total to five.
North Florida welcomes FIU for its home opener on Thursday, Aug. 17. Kickoff at Hodges Stadium is set for 7 p.m. ET.
