North Florida Athletics Wins Back-to-Back ASUN Presidents' Academic Cups

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Athletics was awarded the Atlantic Sun Conference's Presidents' Academic Cup in back-to-back years and for the second time in program history, as announced during the league's annual accomplishments and honors ceremony.
UNF recorded a spring 2025 GPA of 3.49 to go along with its cumulative department GPA of 3.51 for the 2024-25 school year. The men's and women's tennis teams led the charge as the leading squads in GPA for the Ospreys to clinch its back-to-back academic conference titles.
North Florida was also recognized by the ASUN for achieving the highest Academic Progress Rate (APR) as well. It's also the second straight year that UNF has led the conference in this category.Â

Bill Bibb & Sherman Day Trophies: Florida Gulf Coast
Highest Overall APR: North Florida
Most Improved APR: Central Arkansas
Presidents' Academic Cup: North Florida
Female Student-Athlete of the Year: Jaci Carpenter, Florida Gulf Coast
Male Student-Athlete of the Year: Christian Sekanina, Jacksonville
Postgraduate Scholarship Winners: Scott McKenzie & Libby Steinhart, Lipscomb
