JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore Tyshone Bolden claimed the men's high jump title to highlight a pair of podium marks on day two of the 2025 ASUN Outdoor Championships at Visit Jax Track in Hodges Stadium on Friday.

Bolden cleared a top bar of 1.99m to secure the men's high jump title, while junior Jacob Hippo tied for second in the event with a clearance of 1.94m. Graduate student Onix Ortiz, sophomore Ilias El Khattabi and junior Jada Williams all scored for North Florida in their respective 3000m steeplechase events.

In addition to six tickets punched on day one, 14 more Ospreys earned their spots in Saturday's finals on day two. The men's team currently sits in third overall with 38 points.

"We have more student-athletes competing a wider range of events than ever before heading into Saturday's finals," Director of Cross Country/Track and Field Jeff Pigg said. "Our student-athletes had a chance to take a deep breath after a long semester, and I thought we competed really well and executed our race plans across the board. It was awesome to see Tyshone Bolden take the men's high jump title. He has continued to work hard and improve, and it was really cool to see him earn that win."
