JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball notched its 40th overall win, 20th conference win and 20th home win of the season taking down Queens, 7-1, for a series sweep on Sunday afternoon.

After the completion of the game, the Ospreys honored Allison Benning, Mackenzie Woods, Hadlee Reichert, Chloe Culp, Ashley Connor, Lauren Brock and Lauren Bevis during senior day festivities.

This is the third time in D-I program history, as well as the second time in four seasons, that UNF has reached 40 or more wins in a single season. It is the first time in program history that they have hit at least 20 wins in ASUN play.

The Ospreys jumped on them early once again, as they put up a five-piece in the first frame with RBI singles from seniors Culp, Reichert and Woods. UNF ended the weekend combining for 12 runs in the first inning through three games against the Royals.

Culp added on to the damage with another RBI knock in the fourth inning to extend the lead to six runs. Logan Turner put the finishing touches on the home finale with a pinch-hit single to score Reichert in the fifth for a 7-1 victory.
