FIRST PITCH - Baseball Ready For Clash Against UCF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball will host UCF in an in-state battle on Tuesday, Apr. 8, with first pitch set for 6 p.m., at Harmon Stadium.

UNF will broadcast its non-conference midweek game on ESPN+ and updates will be made through live stats, as well as on X/Twitter at @OspreyBSB and Instagram at @OspreysBSB.

Last Time Out

The Ospreys took the series opener against West Georgia, 7-4, on Friday led by a go-ahead homer from Jabin Bates in the fifth inning. UNF will be looking to get back on track against UCF after dropping its last two games. At Harmon Stadium, they hold a 13-10 record with an even 3-3 mark over their last six games. Nick Monile continues to stay hot with a .438 batting average over his last four games.

Scouting UCF

UCF enters the midweek with a 18-13 overall record to go with a 5-6 mark on the road. The Knights recently defeated Stetson, 2-0, in their last midweek game, but was swept against No. 23 Kansas giving up a combined 31 runs. UCF is 2-1 against ASUN teams with a pair of wins against Stetson and their lone loss to Jacksonville. Andrew Williamson leads the team in home runs with seven total, while Lex Boedicker is just ahead of Williamson in RBI with 35 total.

UNF holds an all-time record of 16-22 against UCF with a 7-10 mark as the hosts. The Ospreys picked up a win against UCF in three of the last four seasons, as they look to extend that mark on Tuesday.
