COACH'S THOUGHTS
"Smilla [Kolbe] ran a great race today. She was poised and handled the environment well. It was nice to see such a fast time while she is training hard. Running in this stacked race gained her some valuable experience as well. Robert [Pedroza] had a breakthrough day. His 1500m opener showed he is very fit and this [800m] race is what we expected. He is in great form and we know there is much more to come. It is an exciting time for these seniors!"

Jeff Pigg
"It was great to see several more PRs today! The 400mH group really stepped up with Troy Williams finishing second — just .01 off the school record. Celine D'Anna set a new school record at 1:00.36. Bella Palmiotto claimed second in the triple jump and Gabby Johnson took second in the 200m. This meet was a strong indicator for the rest of the season. Proud of the way everyone stepped up and competed!"
