Last Time Out
The Ospreys have won five of their last six ASUN games, including a 10-0 run-rule victory in game two against FGCU. It was the first shutout against the Eagles for the first time in program history. UNF holds a 6-3 conference record and only one game behind Stetson, who leads the Graphite Division. Will Ross and Bryson Treichel each had outstanding showings looking to repeat their success against the Wolves.
Scouting West Georgia
West Georgia comes into this weekend with an even 13-13 record overall with a 4-5 mark in ASUN play. With a mark of 4-5 on the road as well, they have dropped each of the last four games played, including being swept at home this weekend against Stetson. This also comes off the heels of sweeping FGCU the week before on the road with a series-opening shutout. Three players bat over .330 led by Cooper Prince, while Carter Dierdorf has the wide margin for team-leading homers with nine total.
Series History
This will be the first-ever matchup between North Florida and West Georgia in all-time program history. The Wolves recently joined the conference before the 2024-25 athletic season.
