JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball will make its second and final return on the season to play against Florida on Tuesday, Apr. 1, with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m., in Gainesville, Fla.

Last Time Out
The Ospreys come into the midweek matchup as winners in six of their last eight games. They look to improve on the 3-3 record in midweek games with the three victories being against Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman. After a road sweep of Queens to get to a 4-2 record in ASUN play, UNF came back home to take the series against Florida Gulf Coast, which included a 10-0 run-rule win on Saturday.
Scouting Florida Gulf Coast
Florida enters the week with a 19-11 overall record and a 1-8 record in SEC play so far on the year. They hold a 15-4 record at home, but have lost their last three at Condron Family Ballpark. The Gators were on a six-game losing streak before taking the final game of their road series against Ole Miss. Four players are batting over a .300 mark from the plate with Brody Donay and Brendan Lawson hitting for power with 15 combined home runs.

North Florida is 8-21 against the Gators all-time in 29 previous meetings and will be looking for its first win since the 2019 season. They have played each other twice in every season since 2021. Five of the eight wins against Florida have come on the road, including a win when the Gators were ranked No. 1 overall in 2012.
