TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf continued its weekend at the Florida State Match Up highlighted by Kaitlyn Schroeder's even-par second round on Saturday afternoon.

Schroeder is closing in on her sixth finish inside the top 10 overall as an Osprey after sinking four birdies in round two. She will head into the final day of the three-round weekend with a 2-over 146 combined score and a share of sixth overall.

Casilda Allendesalazar also had a fantastic round with five total birdies after bouncing back from a rough start over her first few holes. From the fifth and 13th holes of her day, she carded four birdies and five pars to jump into the top 25 overall going into the final 18 holes.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Kaitlyn Schroeder is inching closer to yet another top-10 placement with an even-par round standing in sixth overall.
The Jacksonville, Fla., currently leads the team in pars with 21 total, while also being second in par-three scoring average (1-under).
Casilda Allendesalazar caught fire after a slow start with a 4-under run over a span of nine holes to be 3-over 75 on the day and tied for 24th overall.
Both Schroeder and Allendesalazar have combined for 17 birdies to be second and third in the field.
They are also tied for fourth among the field in par-five scoring average (3-under).
Braydn Smith repeated her opening-round score of 5-over 77 with a pair of birdies over the first four holes of the front nine.
Kaitlynn Washburn and Helen Zhou put the finishing touches on a solid second round for the Ospreys.
Tantai Seema also holds the eighth-most birdies in the tournament as an unattached individual.
The Ospreys go into the final round with the third-best par-five average (6-under) and the fourth-best par-three average (8-over).
UNF also is third out of 13 teams in birdies with 28 total, along with its 94 total pars.
