DeLAND, Fla. - North Florida softball swept its first pair of Atlantic Sun Conference matchups, including a run-rule victory, against Stetson on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys outscored their in-state conference rival by a combined score of 15-1 in 12 innings played. The offensive was provided in the second game highlighted by a two-hit, four-RBI game from
Kelsey Vogel.
Both
Allison Benning and
Macie Hunolt were lights out from the circle in each of their starts, combining seven innings of scoreless ball, three strikeouts and only four hits allowed.
Chloe Culp was a major contributor in both games as well with three hits in the first matchup, followed by a two-RBI second game.
