AUGUSTA, Ga. - Kaitlyn Schroeder steadied the course for North Florida women's golf to be placed among the top 10 individuals on the player's leaderboard through two rounds at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on Saturday evening.

The Ospreys used its second-most pars among all 13 teams in the event to be position in eighth going into the final round in the Peach State. Braydn Smith joined the fellow underclassman inside the top 20 overall with four birdies in the first round to put herself in position to notch a career-best placement on Sunday.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Kaitlyn Schroeder goes into Sunday's round as the top Ospreys with a score of 2-over combined tied for ninth overall with a top four par-three scoring average (even-par).
She scored par on all nine holes during the back nine for both rounds to help lead all players in the tournament for pars with 29 total.
Braydn Smith used a great start and a top four par-five scoring average (3-under) to be right behind Schroeder tied for 18th overall.
The true freshman leads the Ospreys in birdies with six total through 38 holes.
Casilda Allendesalazar finished her performance with a 10-over combined score to put her at a share of 31st overall.
She is also one of four players on the first day to score an eagles over the course of two rounds.
Helen Zhou has the third-most pars so far this weekend with 26 total, while Kaitlynn Washburn finished up the first day of play for the Ospreys.
Tantai Seema also competed in the tournament as an unattached individual score.
The Ospreys are one of five teams to have a player in the top 10 and another in the top 20 overall.
UNF has the second-most pars with 115 total, as well as top-four marks in par-three and par-five scoring averages.
