COACH'S THOUGHTS

"Our high jumpers led off the day with an electric 2-3 finish. I'm thrilled to see Tariq [LaJoie] finish out his career with a podium finish. Tyshone [Bolden] has been a blessing for our team, as he just keeps in putting in great jumps as well. Jonathan [Bailey] and Will [Owens] ran very strong to give us a boost in the short sprints and Will came back with a very strong 200m as well. He has a great future for us. Robert [Pedroza] ran a very setting wire-to-wire rave just getting caught at the line, as he ran very tough. Aidan [O'Gorman] just executed a perfect race in the 3000m. He has done a lot of great things here at UNF, but just might be the most impressive.

Smilla [Kolbe] came back from the anchoring the DMR with a mile to ran an outstanding 800m. She looked brilliant this weekend and has a lot of great things ahead. Ella [Chandler] continues to be a top performer in the 800m and Ines Arqued came back from injury to run a gritty 2:12 and place for us. Camryn [Batt] just learned how to hurdle this year and was able to place seventh in the championships. I'm proud of how she has worked to be revelant in the conference. Bella [Palmiotto] was able to score in the triple jump and, as a freshman, gained some valuable experience. The 4x4 team was very exciting. We finally have a strong team and competed hard for the podium. Celine [D'Anna] ran a brilliant lead off, Ella was strong to hold position, then Gabby [Johnson] ran a huge third leg with Smilla closing it out in 53.90, which was the fastest leg of the meet. I'm really proud of who we are and how we competed. Ana [Markovina] also came back and ran a very nice mile. She is getting better each week."
