GAINESVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's golf wrapped up a packed week on the links to opener their spring season with a ninth overall finish at the Gator Invitational hosted by Florida on Sunday afternoon.
The Ospreys fought through the elements to complete their final 18 holes of the weekend.
Jason Duff and
Danny Erickson were side-by-side in the final standings with Duff in 20th overall, followed by Erickson in 21st overall.

- Jason Duff finished out a successful week with a trio of birdies to card 2-over 212 combined.
- The redshirt senior was the team leader in total pars at the conclusion of the event with 36 combined.
- Danny Erickson got back on track this week with a top-25 ranking for a 3-over 213 score.
- He also shared the second-best par-five average score at 6-under.
- Brett Schell had back-to-back birdies to finish the back nine, while adding another on his last hole of the day to finish inside the top 50.
- He and Erickson both had the team-high in birdies through 54 holes with 10 total each.
- Chase Carroll earned an eagle in a flawless front nine, while Filippo Serra wrapped up another great event for the Ospreys to start the spring.
- UNF completed their weekend with 157 total pars, 38 total birdies and a pair of eagles.
