JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis built momentum early with a pair of doubles victories and carried it over to the singles courts to defeat Kennesaw State, 4-2, on Friday afternoon at UNF Tennis Complex.
The Ospreys grabbed a 1-0 lead in the match behind a pair of wins on the doubles courts from

Bruno Vietri. From there, the match moved into singles play.
UNF went into a tiebreaker in the first set of the fourth court where Filoramo defeated Eric Vladimirov in the first-to-seven set.
Joao Portugal extended North Florida's match lead to 2-0 with a dominant performance on the sixth court in singles play, with an impressive 6-2, 6-0 straight-set victory.
The Osprey's lead grew to 3-1 after
Andreas Scott came back from a 1-0 deficit with 6-2, 6-3 victories sets two and three.
Chase Healey sealed the match win for North Florida in comeback fashion after dropping the first set 5-7 with back-to-back 6-3 victories in sets two and three on court five.
