CORAL GABLES, Fla. – North Florida Men's Basketball fell at RV Miami (FL), 105-67, at Watsco Center on Sunday.Â

Senior guard Kamrin Oriol posted 29 points, his fifth game with 20 or more points this season, on 8-14 from the field, 7-10 from three and 6-8 from the free-throw line with three assists in 35 minutes. Oriol has scored 58 combined points over the last two games. The seven threes made also marked a career-high total for Oriol and are most by an Osprey this season.Â

Graduate student guard Devin Hines added 11 points on 4-8 from the field and four rebounds in 26 minutes. It marked the fifth game this season with 10 or more points for Hines.Â

Oriol got the scoring started for North Florida on a corner three in transition off a dish from Hines. Graduate student guard/forward Dalton Gayman connected on a three to take an 8-7 lead at the 16:58-minute mark of the first half. Miami scored on its next possession to lead 9-8 at the initial first-half media timeout.Â

Oriol connected on his third three of the first half to cut the deficit back to one possession at 24-22 with 9:19 minutes left before the break. North Florida opened the game on 4-5 from three and finished the first half connecting on 8-14 from behind the arc. Oriol led all Ospreys with 20 points on 6-9 from the field, 5-5 from three and 3-3 from the free-throw line in the first half. Miami led 51-35 at the break after a half that included three lead changes and two ties.Â

Hines turned in seven of his 11 points in the second half. North Florida went on a 6-0 run to cut the margin with under five minutes left in regulation.Â

North Florida closes out its non-conference slate when it hosts Columbia on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. ET at UNF Arena.
