
Volleyball Wins Third Straight, Dominates In Sweep Over Queens

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - North Florida volleyball put its talent on display in dominant fashion, earning its second sweep in Atlantic Sun Conference play, 3-0, over Queens on Friday evening.
UNF 3, QUOC 0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-21)
Set 1: Graduate outside hitters Kailey McKnight and Janelly Ceopa led the way offensively for the Ospreys with three kills each in set one. UNF stormed back from a 7-2 deficit to take a 21-17 lead. Ceopa tallied a kill on set-point to earn the win.
Set 2: North Florida fought back once again, this time from a 7-4 deficit. The Ospreys used a 7-0 surge amid the set to command a 12-9 advantage, fueled by kills from McKnight and junior outside hitter Kaili Doctor. For the second-straight set, Ceopa sealed the victory on set-point with a kill.
Set 3: North Florida earned its first lead of the set following a kill from Doctor to earn a 10-9 edge. Trailing 18-16, freshman opposite Kendall Newbold knotted the score at 18 with back-to-back kills. From there, the Ospreys closed out the set on a 7-3 run, bringing the match to its final margin.
