
Men's Cross Country Ranked Ninth in USTFCCCA Week 2 Poll

NEW ORLEANS - North Florida men's cross country has been selected ninth in the USTFCCCA South Region Week 2 Poll, as released by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday afternoon.
After placing over Florida State, LSU and Miami in the FSU XC Open, the Ospreys jumped into the top 10 overall over FSU, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt in the South Region. They join Lipscomb and Eastern Kentucky as ASUN teams ranked in the top 10 of their respective regions.
UNF has now placed first overall as a team in the Florida Intercollegiate Cross Country Invitational, followed by its runner-up finish at Florida State. Aiden Arnold has also finished with top-10 times in each of the first two races of his senior season.
North Florida's next event will take place at the Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama on Friday, Oct. 17, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
