Pigg Returns to Columbia Once More After 11-Year Stint at Mizzou

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida cross country continues its season after each earning team & individual victories in the home-opening meet with its annual road trip up to compete at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday, Sept. 27, in Columbia, Mo.

The Ospreys will be making its fifth consecutive fall appearance at the Gans Creek Classic, as head coach Jeff Pigg returns to his old stomping grounds. After attending Missouri as a student-athlete from 1982-84, he went on to coach for the Tigers for 11 seasons, helping the Tigers to two natioanl titles, 24 all-american honors and three Region V titles.

The men's team will start the race at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the women's team with a start time of 10:45 a.m. ET. Live timing can be followed on PTT Timing, as well as updates on X/Twitter at @OspreyXCTF and Instagram at @OspreysTrack.
