CARLSBAD, Calif. - In a national field that hosts 30 teams and 154 players, North Florida men's golf started its opening round of the NCAA Championship with a combined team score of 19-over to sit tied for 27th overall on Friday afternoon.
The Ospreys teed off the early start window with
Nick Gabrelcik leading the way for a 2-over 74 that included a pair of birdies on the first and last holes of the back nine. He sits with a share of 41st overall on the player's leaderboard through 18 holes out on the West Coast.
