DIAMOND PREVIEW: at Stetson

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball will play its final three games of the regular season in a weekend series against Stetson from May 3-4 in DeLand, Fla.

The Ospreys are coming off a series victory against top-ranked Eastern Kentucky to extend their ASUN record to 15-6 in the conference. They currently sit tied for second in the conference standings with FGCU, as the top-two teams will earn a bye round in the ASUN Championship.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (31-16, 15-6 ASUN) got behind the arm of Kylah Berry and the bat of Allison Benning on their way to a series win against top-ranked Eastern Kentucky (37-8, 18-3 ASUN), 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at UNF Softball Complex.

The Ospreys completed its weekend handing EKU two of their three conference losses on the season, courtesy of Berry's six-inning performance with four strikeouts and no earned runs allowed. Allison Benning gave the necessary cushion in the fifth inning with a two-run homer to not only extend the lead to 3-0, but also break the UNF single-season program record for home runs with 14 total on the year.
