JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior Jonas Hartenstein will be representing North Florida men's tennis and the Atlantic Sun Conference as its automatic qualifier in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship. The national tournament will take place from May 20-25 at the Greenwood Tennis Center hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla.

Hartenstein was one of 64 selections that earned its way to the championship field and one of 15 automatic qualifications. He was awarded the opportunity after placing inside top 125 of the individual ITA rankings for singles play.

The Berlin, Germany, native is putting together the best season of his career after walking through conference play with an undefeated singles record and being selected as the ASUN Player of the Year. He has lead his team to a third ASUN Tournament Championship in program history and will be the No. 1 player for the Ospreys heading into its matchup with No. 10 Florida State in the NCAA Team Championship.

All matches shall be the best-of-three sets. No-ad scoring and a seven-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) at six-games-all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.
