Baseball Drops First Game in River City Rumble

Ospreys Faltered in Eighth Inning with Seven Runs Allowed

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball (17-17-18, 7-9 ASUN) kept things close through seven innings in a three-run game, but seven runs allowed in the eighth ended the series opener with the Ospreys falling to Jacksonville (17-19, 11-5 ASUN), 10-0, on Friday evening.

UNF had a solid showing from its ace, Peter Holden, with just over five frames thrown with five strikeouts and only two runs allowed. The offense couldn't produce a crooked number on the scoreboard with Cade Reich and Cade Bush recording the only hits of the game for the Ospreys.
