
Women's Golf Sits in Second at Spring Break Shootout

Allendesalazar, Eisenbeiss & Kashima Among Top 11 Individuals
DADE CITY, Fla. - North Florida women's golf got out to a fantastic start early this week with a second-place standing through two rounds at the Spring Break Shootout hosted by Western Kentucky on Monday afternoon.
The Ospreys were headlined by three scorers in the top 11 spots, the only team to do so in the first two rounds, with Casilda Allendesalazar leading the way at 6-under 136 with back-to-back scores in the 60s. Christin Eisenbeiss was right behind the junior transfer carding 5-under and consecutive rounds in the 60s as well, while One Kashima added an even-par mark to the mix.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Allendesalazar went off in the first round with six birdies, while also finishing off her second round with back-to-back birdies to be among the top four at 6-under 136 combined.
- The junior goes into the final day holding the third-best par-three average (4-under), as well as a top five par-four average (even-par).
- Eisenbeiss showed consistency once again for the Ospreys with five birdies in the first round and three in the second to get to 5-under 137 and tied for sixth overall.
- She also is among the top two individuals for best par-four average score at 3-under.
- Kashima notched 1-under 70 in the second round with two birdies and only one hole worse than par to sit at even-par through day one in Dade City.
- Zhou had great showings in each of her two rounds back in the starting lineup with a combined score of 3-over 145 for a share of 27th overall.
- Both Zhou and Kashima ended round two with a top-six mark in par-five average scoring at 3-under.
- Washburn finished strong in the second round with 12 pars and a birdie over her last 13 holes to sneak inside the top 50 at 6-over 148 overall.
- She also led the team in pars through the first day with 27 total, which ranks seventh among the field.
- Cai also competed as an unattached individual and holds a score of 10-over 152 combined.
- The Ospreys have the best par-five scoring average at 9-under, while also having top four marks in par-three (2-under) and par-four (9-over) averages.
- UNF also has the second-most pars with 121 total and the third-most birdies at 32 total.
- Allendesalazar led the entire tournament field in birdies with 11 total through two rounds, while Cai and Eisenbeiss each had eight as well.
