JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball (9-6) had another outpouring of offense in its rubber match against Seton Hall (8-6), as they scored double-digit runs for the fourth time this season to take home the 11-0 shutout victory early Sunday afternoon at Harmon Stadium.
This is the first time this season that the Ospreys have run-ruled an opponent, as it comes in its final weekend game against a non-conference opponent. Two runs scored in the first and third innings, followed with seven more runs scored by the end of the sixth launched UNF to 11 runs scored in the game.
Although the bats were hot against the Pirates,
Tony Roca was the star of the day with six innings pitched with no runs allowed, four strikeouts and only two hits allowed.
Lance Bolton came in for the seventh inning to seal the deal in the matinee win.
