Softball Suffers Road Defeat at FAU

First of Two Games This Week on Road Trip

BOCA RATON, Fla. - North Florida softball (3-2) couldn't generate enough offense to keep up with Florida Atlantic (4-2), as they suffered a tough loss, 7-2, in its season road debut on Tuesday evening.

After going 1-2-3 in the first inning on defense, the Ospreys allowed six runs in the following inning to find themselves in a hole. Shannon Glover got UNF on the board in the top of the fifth with an RBI single, but FAU added another run to their total to cushion their lead in a five-run defeat.
