MIAMI, Fla. - North Florida softball could not hold on to its lead in an all-round defensive game, as they faltered to FIU (3-4), 2-1, on the road Wednesday evening.

Madisyn Federico from third on a groundout. FIU responded with a two-run home run in the fourth inning and kept the one-run lead until the end.

- Logan Jackson recorded both hits for the Ospreys on Wednesday against the Panthers.
