Ospreys Fall in Non-Conference Finale at No. 7 Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's basketball (7-6) wrapped up the non-conference slate with a tough test against No. 7 Florida (12-0), falling to the unbeaten Gators, 99-45, Saturday, Dec. 21.

UF started things off on an 8-0 run as UNF took a timeout with 16:59 to go … Miles drained consecutive three-pointers to get UNF within four, but UF ran off a 14-4 spurt through the under-12 media timeout … Miles finished the half with 11 points to pace UNF.
UNF had five three-pointers fall in the second half and the Ospreys shot 7-for-10 from the line as the Gators stayed ahead in the second half.Â
