Ospreys Host Senior Night Saturday
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida volleyball wraps up its home slate for the 2024 season with two important matches Friday and Saturday at The Nest. UNF welcomes West Georgia Friday before taking on Queens the following day for Senior Night.
UNF currently sits at 6-6 and in the seventh slot in the league standings, two matches ahead of Queens. The Ospreys would secure a spot in the league tournament with a win Friday night.Â

FLORENCE, Ala. - Behind three double-digit kill performances and nine team aces, North Florida (10-17, 6-6 ASUN) bounced back from a one-set deficit to pull off a quality road win at North Alabama (14-11, 8-4 ASUN), 3-1, Sunday, Nov. 3. With the win, head coach Kristen Wright reached 100-career wins at North Florida, becoming the first coach in the program's DI era to reach that milestone.
After dropping a tough first set, UNF evaded a 2-0 deficit with a 4-0 run to close the second. North Florida seemingly took the momentum for good by erasing a 10-3 deficit to win the third before a dominating fourth.
Keeping it 100
Head coach Kristen Wright became the first Osprey head coach in the program's DI era to reach 100-career wins after defeating UNA Sunday.Â

West Georgia: North Florida is 2-0 all-time against West Georgia, earning sweeps in both encounters … the Ospreys are 1-0 all-time against UWG in Jacksonville after winning 3-0 back in November of 1992.
