JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The documentary film, "Beyond Triathlon" will premiere this Saturday, Oct. 12, from 2-5 p.m. at the Lazzara Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of North Florida. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting scholarships for UNF female student-athletes.

"A triumphant toast to excellence", the film is sponsored by Bacardi and is presented by the Jacksonville Film Festival. 

"Beyond Triathlon" highlights the journeys of women who have helped mold the sports world and the communities in which they are in. The film will feature legends of the female sports world, including Dottie Dorian, Celeste Callahan, Nancy Hogshead, mayor Donna Deegan. It will also be narrated by Sika Henry, the first professional African American female professional athlete.
