UNF Extends Unbeaten Run to Ten Games
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer clinched a top-four seed in the 2024 Atlantic Sun Championship Tournament as the Ospreys (9-3-7, 6-1-4 ASUN) took down cross-town rivals Jacksonville (4-10-3, 3-6-2 ASUN), 3-1 in the River City Rumble regular season finale on Thursday evening.Â
Allie Fekany opened the scoring in the 39th minute, heading in a corner from Chloe Lynch. Lynch extended the Ospreys lead in the 53rd minute, curling a dazzling free-kick over the head of the Jacksonville keeper to make it 2-0. The Dolphins cut the deficit to one just three minutes later, but Jersi Dadah sealed the win for UNF in the 74th minute with a powerful strike into the roof of the net.Â
With tonight's victory, the Ospreys improve to 10-straight games unbeaten, it is currently the longest streak in the program's Division I era.   Â
