LAKE NONA, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis opened the fall season with day one of the annual Bedford Cup at the USTA National Campus. The doubles duo of Breno Marques and Andreas Scott highlighted the opener, going 2-0 to advance to the Flight A Doubles Final set for Sunday. 

Marques and Scott dispatched FGCU's pair in the opening round, 6-3, before winning matches against pairs from UF and FAU. They'll be slated in the finals with a chance to take home the title.

Freshman Chase Healey and sophomore Spencer Dorosheff also made their debuts in singles and doubles play Friday. Singles play will continue for all four Ospreys tomorrow in Lake Nona.
