JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida returns home after a pair of split days at neutral site tournaments to host Charleston Southern and Troy in the Spring Break Challenge from Mar. 3-4 at UNF Softball Complex.

The Ospreys will hold a doubleheader matchup against Charleston Southern starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by another set of games on Saturday against Troy beginning at the same time. Jacksonville will also be playing neutral site doubleheaders at UNF against both Charleston Southern and Troy on opposite days with their games starting at 11 a.m.

All matchups are hosted at the UNF Softball Complex and will be broadcasted on SWOOPLife Live. Updates for each game will be made through live stats, as well as on Twitter at OspreySB for UNF games.

WHAT TO KNOW

• UNF has split four of first five days with two or more games played.
• Has not lost back-to-back games since last year's regular season finale.
• First time this season that Ospreys will play in a doubleheader against the same team.
• Has scored six or more runs in five games, while holding opponents to three or less runs in nine games on the season.
• First of two times this season that the Ospreys will be hosting Troy this season.
• They will face off against the Trojans for a third time on Sunday, Mar. 12, at the UNF Invitational.
• Chloe Culp is far and away the Ospreys best hitter by average at .389 with a 1.133 OPS in 36 at bats.
• She's put up 14 hits, 19 RBIs, three runs, five doubles and two home runs with a .694 slugging.
• Logan Jackson joins Culp with double-digit RBIs with 11 RBIs and two HRs on the year.
• Jackson also has gone 12-for-12 for reaching base at least once in every game this season.
• Savannah Channell is not far behind with a current streak of 10 games straight as well.
• Kayla Harper leads the team in runs scored with 10 total, as well as stolen bases going 9-for-9.
• Ashley Connor and Izzy Kelly have been lights out in the circle with 37 combined strikeouts and a 7-2 record.

OPPONENT NOTES

• Charleston Southern has started their season at 6-5 overall with a 1-2 record on the road...their most recent series was against Towson, where they took two out of three at home...they also hosted the CSU Buc Up Tournament earlier this year where they went 3-2 with wins over UMass, North Dakota and Providence...Ospreys will play against their second consecutive Big South opponent after playing against Presbyterian last weekend at the Stetson Invitational...Ashley Meckley and Harper Schoeneweis have been producing the most offense for the Bucs with 17 hits and eight RBIs combined...Madelyne Lee joins the duo with batting averages over .300 on the team...Annah Junge is the team's pitching ace with a 2.66 ERA, along with 43 strikeouts and a 5-1 record.
