Lanier Recorded 13th Double Figure Scoring Game
ATHENS, Ga. - North Florida men's basketball held leads at high as eight points against Georgia, but the Bulldogs pulled with runs of their own to hand the Ospreys a 78-60 road loss on Friday afternoon.
Chaz Lanier led the Ospreys in points with 16 total to earn his 13th double-digit game out of the 14 games played this season. Dorian James also scored eight points in a game where he faced off against his younger bother, Dylan, who is a freshman for the Bulldogs.

First Half
UNF had an exciting start against the Bulldogs with Nate Lliteras making a layup, followed with back-to-back three-pointers from Lliteras and Dorian James to reach an 8-0 lead...after UGA came back and tied the score, Lanier and James went back to shooting threes to go back out front...Jake van der Heijden threw down a dunk to help rebuild an eight-point lead halfway through the first...the Ospreys fell into a scoring drought with their next points coming with just under six minutes left from Jasai Miles beyond the arc...James and Ametri Moss put together buckets before the end of the half with the score at 45-29 favoring UGA.
Second Half
Lanier caught fire early out of the break with a three in the first 30 seconds along with another three just minutes later...Trent Coleman received his first points of the game before Lanier drilled another three-pointer to earn his fourth trey of the game...Jaylen Smith and Jah Nze continued to make an impact in games as underclassmen with threes of their own...one final three from van der Heijden and a jumper from Lanier were the final points from UNF in another tough road loss against a Power Five opponent, 78-60.
